The Society

The Supernatural Society is a themed Role-Playing site set in medieval times. Members create an account with the name of their main character as their user name. There are several different classes of characters to choose from as well as several different areas to Role-Play in. We strive to bring you a quality Role-Playing experience, and hope that you enjoy the stories you create with your fellow Society members.

The Society's Setting
The Supernatural Society is set in medieval times, taking place in a large town known simply as 'The Society.' There are several different areas of the town. Some where members of any class may do as they please, and others were only members of certain classes may explore. Everything that you write in The Society effects the overall story of your character, unless otherwise stated in the forum. Details about each location are listed below the sub-forum.

Points of Interest within The Society
Aside from it's all but normal residents, The Society also possesses a few noteworthy landscapes such as The Dourhan Tombs and The Solfalin Forest. These locations are home to Spirits and Demons, both friendly and fowl. There are also ancient texts and treasures that could be discovered, granting special powers to those who uncover them. But beware, these artifacts are always guarded by Spirits, Demons, or Beasts.

Currency and Trade
The Supernatural Society uses Copper, Silver and Gold coins as currency. A Copper coin is in equal value to that of one U.S. Dollar. A Silver coin is equal to 50 U.S. Dollars, and a Gold coin is equal to that of 100 U.S. Dollars. These coins are used to purchase food, drink, lodging, equipment, weapons, armor, so on and so forth. Aside from earning coin through an honest day's work, characters can also sell or trade valuable objects they come across during their travels, or items they make themselves. Each character class can use their skills to produce items that can be sold. For example, Dark Mages can sell poisons, potions, or other dark brews they concoct. Light Mages are able to brew powerful healing potions that can be sold, and so on. Lastly, any character class can work to earn money, or use their skills to run errands for others.
